5 Stars Easily. Renewed my love of the game.
I've played on a lot of 7 Days to Die servers over the years, and Afterlife Zombies has become the first that keeps me coming back wipe after wipe. There are several servers that present the same way, but upon joining, it isn't like Afterlife at all. I am leaving my first review on a gaming server after seeing what another player posted. Because that player? He wasn't a team player, and he is making things up on this website because he is angry he wasn't "#1."
I do have to say, what stands out THE MOST is how much effort the staff put into the server. There are constant events, custom content, unique POIs, and features that make the experience feel different from a standard 7DTD server, or another Project-Z server. The admins are active, approachable, and genuinely care about improving the community and listening to player feedback. They don't periodically check in when their schedule allows, they set their schedule around running a server.
The server strikes a very, very, very good balance between challenging and fun. Whether you're into building, looting, questing, horde nights, or community events, there's ALWAYS something going on. The custom events and competitions keep things fresh, and it's obvious that a lot of time and work goes into creating them (Shout out to you guys!).
The community is another big plus. New players are welcomed, veteran players are helpful, and the overall feel is much, much, much more friendly than what you'll find on other servers that claim to be busy.
No server is perfect, 7 days is not a stable game, so there are always changes and adjustments being made, but what matters is that the staff are constantly working to improve things rather than letting the server become stagnant. It's the best out of anywhere else I have played.
If you're looking for a long-term 7 Days to Die community with active development, regular events, and a staff team that genuinely cares, Afterlife Zombies is... the best. IT IS VERY HARD THOUGH. I have warned you!
Oh, you can absolutely say who you're talking about. No need for vague statements.
And yes, I mostly played solo, so I wasn't much of a "team player." That's hardly a secret. What's odd is that you seem very confident making claims about me despite apparently never playing with me.
As for "making things up," I've provided feedback about the server, not attacked individual players. Since then, most of the responses have been personal attacks instead of addressing the actual feedback.
And the "#1" comment is funny because you're quoting something I never said. Feel free to point to a single post where I claimed I wanted to be "#1" or that I was the best.
I'm simply sharing my experience about the server and responding to accusations that aren't true. No anger - pretty calm.
