A lovely server full of helpful, welcoming players...
This has been my all-time favourite server and has brought me back to 7DTD on a regular basis, in fact I play too much now! I found the difficulty settings very challenging to start with and was a little unsure if I'd come back for a second visit as I'm used to playing much easier settings (warrior / jog at night). But with such a helpful community and a little self-belief, I really got the hang of it and realised I'm actually quite good at this game. Now I love it and wouldn't have it any other way!
After a few weeks here, I've made some lovely new friends and find every single player to be so kind and fun to talk to. There isn't a bad egg in sight! The sanctuary player city is really easy to access and allows trading between players which helps in the early game, but allows you to help others once you have progressed a little. I love to feed, heal and help so that works great for my play style.
There are things that make the progression a little faster, such as being able to buy materials with in-game currency, auto miners, coops, etc. However, because ProjectZ playthroughs are a long, invested commitment, it works brilliantly for the players because within the (approx) 6 week wipe cycle you can still complete everything without feeling you missed out, or having to commit your entire life to the game. I find these helpful features mixed with the difficulty level to be a perfect balance.
The admins are really nice, always fair and create lots of fun events for us to enjoy. The owners work really hard and commit so much time to the server - Seven is constantly tweaking/improving things or creating unique features for us to enjoy and Rachel is always around to keep everyone smiling and works so hard to make sure we're all having a lovely time.
Lots of team building events and I've yawned through work numerous times after staying up late (time zone difference), just so I can take part! It's a perfect place for solo or team play and if you ever need help, you'll always have someone who will be there for you.
I'm playing from the UK and the server is based in the US, yet my connection is pretty much perfect. Sometimes I see a jitter of lag as my ping will always be higher than US players, but I've never had that "zombies running in the wrong direction" issue. It is unusual to have such a good connection to a server based so far away. That makes me happy, as there just aren't any servers like this in the UK/EU regions. Highly recommend for players worldwide, for this reason.
