Preface:

Despite the grim reality around them, this survivor refuses to give up hope.

But the infected grow more dangerous with each passing day, exhibiting strange and terrifying behaviours. Still, the survivor pushes forward, determined to defy the odds. In the end, however, there are no happy endings. Despite their bravery, the survivor succumbs to the pandemic like so many others before them. And as the world falls into darkness, their story serves as a reminder of the fragility of life in the face of overwhelming adversity.
