Make Afterlife Great Again

Used to be a great server. Sure it's heavily pay to win where you can have a motorcycle, autoshotgun, unlimited ammo, personal vendor etc on the first day. But the community was great. Most of the people that made the server great has unfortunately left and with recent changes to try and be "very hard" (while still having safe zones you can stay at whenever and both personal and public teleports, fixme commands for subscribers and a titlesystem that is so flawed it's just ridiculous) they have turned a game with vast build diversity into an unbalanced mess where even the admins tells you to go full raider gear. Somewhere they lost the plot and has turned into one of many servers where you are forced to pay to not go through an infinite death-loop until you managed to get some decent gear.

Heya,

Unlimited ammo? That's new... and I could use that. :P lol

I'm not being defensive here -- I'm not sure who left, but I think maybe your friends, because our retention rate has actually been higher the last three months then previously. I'm sorry if your friends moved on though, that does suck. Really.

Unfortunately, running these servers is VERY expensive. Way, way more expensive then I thought it would be. In order to keep up a server that can host 50 players at a time, you do have to have incentives to have players help keep it running. We don't have unlimited ammo - that's another server. I 100% agree - that IS too pay to win. lol

At the beginning of Season 11 (which is now ending) we DID amp the difficulty up - because we had received a TON of people asking for it to be made harder. We did end up pulling back on that after about a week, and at THAT point, we did have 4 or 5 people leave.

I am sorry it wasn't a good fit for you - servers naturally evolve and players come and go. People need breaks. We have tons of players that are here one wipe, gone the next, back the one after. It's how it is.

I hope you have a wonderful day, Rachel
